Pop-up giving circles are a short, interactive giving experience that enables a reflective and intentional group to make a collective gift to an organization or project of their choice, all in an hour or two. During this 60-minute virtual session, you’ll experience all the connection, conversation, and joy that comes with being a giving circle member. Join us on October 9 as we celebrate Give to Women and Girls Day, a national campaign spearheaded by Women’s Philanthropy Institute, and Indigenous Peoples’ Day by raising awareness and funds for Indigenous Women-led organizations!
Grounded in trust-based philanthropic approaches, Kindle Project’s Indigenous Women’s Flow Fund (IWFF) brings together three Indigenous women from across the United States, for a three-year period, to be decision-makers over grantmaking dollars and to shape the program according to their vision.
Sara Lomelin, CEO of Philanthropy Together, and Pearl Lujan, a storyteller for IWFF, will facilitate this experience as you meet fellow participants, learn about Indigenous women-led causes, and give a pooled donation to advance two grassroots organizations’ missions! Come prepared to give a personally meaningful gift for the collective donation on Grapevine —together we can do so much!
